Refund Policy

The short version: if your release does not get distributed, you get your money back. Once it has been written, approved by you, and submitted, the work has been done.
You get a full refund if
- Your release is rejected by the distribution network.
- Your release does not publish.
- We decide, before writing begins, that your announcement is not ready for distribution.
In each of those cases you receive the full amount back. You do not need to argue for it.
It is non-refundable once
the release has been written, approved by you in writing, and submitted for distribution.
At that point the writing has been done and the distribution has been performed. Both are the thing you paid for.
No partial refunds for which outlets picked it up
We do not give partial refunds based on which publications did or did not carry your release, or how many did.
Placement is decided by independent editors at each outlet. We have no influence over it, we never promised a specific outlet, and a release that publishes has been delivered even if the list is shorter than you hoped.
How to request one
Email admin@pressreadynews.com with your order details and what happened. There is no form.
- Request within 14 days of the event you are claiming for.
- We reply within one business day.
- Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days, back to the original payment method.
Your bank may take a few days longer to show it. That part is out of our hands.
Example: a refund we would approve
A company orders a campaign to announce a funding round. We write the release, they approve it, and we submit it. The network rejects it because a claim in it cannot be substantiated to their standard, and it does not publish anywhere.
Full refund. The release did not publish, and that is exactly what the refund is for — even though the writing work had already been done.
Example: a refund we would decline
A company orders a campaign, approves the draft, and it is submitted and published. Twelve outlets carry it. The client expected one specific national title, which did not pick it up, and asks for their money back.
Declined. The release was written, approved, submitted, and published. Which outlets carry a release is decided by their editors, not by us, and we never guaranteed that title — no one honestly can.
If that specific title matters more than anything else, tell us before you order and we will tell you plainly whether it is realistic.
